Curriculum

One curriculum, three layers.

Every degree blends a common foundation, a skill-and-values core, and a deep program specialization — the R25 structure followed across S.V. University.

🤖

A common foundation

Applications of Artificial Intelligence is studied by every student, alongside English (Bridge courses) and a second language — Telugu, Sanskrit or Hindi.

🧭

Skills & values

A Student Development Program (SDP), the Indian Knowledge System (IKS), a Community Service Project (CSP), NSS and Library hours build skills beyond the textbook.

🎓

Program specialization

Each program then goes deep — computing, commerce or management — with theory papers and hands-on labs and practicals every week.

  • 4-year B.Sc Honors tracks — Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Technologies, Data Science, Computer Science.
  • 3-year UG degrees — B.Com (Computer Applications), BBA, BCA.
  • Continuous internal assessment (mid examinations) plus end-semester university examinations.
  • Medium of instruction: English.

Regulations

The R25 regulation.

All programs run under the R25 regulation of Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati — the scheme applicable to the 2025–26 batch onward. It defines the credit structure, subjects, question-paper codes and the examination pattern for each program.

What it means for students

  • A semester system with defined credits per subject.
  • Each paper carries a unique QP code (e.g. 2-03-R25) used across timetables and examinations.
  • Examinations are set and conducted by S.V. University; results and credits are recorded on the university / NAD-ABC platform.
  • Internal mid-examinations contribute to the final assessment alongside end-semester exams.

The college also follows university and APSCHE circulars on examinations and the Academic Bank of Credits — see Notifications →
